Support

There are many ways to support the museum. Whether by making financial donations, volunteering in various positions, or buying a Gold Brick, the museum recognizes everyone’s contribution to our efforts to collect, preserve and present outstanding pieces of Canadian history, and to share the extraordinary RCR experience with everyone in the community.

The museum does not charge admission fees, however financial donations are highly appreciated. All financial contributions support the daily operations including collections and archives care, programs and tours delivery or storylines and exhibits development. We take pride in preserving an important piece of Canadian history while sharing this treasure with the public. Your contribution means that you share our pride, and the gesture is much cherished. Over 7,000 volunteer hours are needed every year to support the museum activities. Volunteering at The Royal Canadian Regiment Museum offers you the opportunity to learn new skills and meet great people while supporting our mission to preserve, collect, present artefacts relevant for the history of the Regiment and to foster a deeper understanding of the Regimental experience. For a $400.00 donation, you can order a rectangular golden plate, measuring 2 ½ in x 8 in, with an inscription of your choice. The plaque is then mounted in Colonel Tom Lawson Hall; a dedication ceremony may be arranged upon request.
